It's no secret that Zoe Sugg is pretty successful when it comes to the interwebs. She's got ten million subscribers under her belt after six years of blogging and vlogging, so in case you hadn't already worked it out, that means she's really quite rich. Basically.

But for some reason the world's press is going BONKERS today over some new figures that reportedly show her monthly earnings, and funnily enough, they do indeed confirm that Zoella is basically raking in the cash.

FIRST LOOK: Zoella launches homeware, lifestyle...

According to the Sunday Times, Zoe makes actual MONEY for all the work she does online and offline every day (gasp shock horror) – roughly £50,000 a month if you're interested in all the figures.

Yes, that is a fairly mindblowing amount of cash to be bringing in from making YouTube vids, but we're not too sure why everyone's only just suddenly realising this BRAND NEW INFORMATION, or why they're so outraged by it.

Sigh, will the world ever understand YouTube and YouTubers? Probably not.

The stats go on to claim that Zoe earned a profit of almost £400,000 in just eight months up to November 2014 thanks to her videos, her line of beauty products and her Girl Online books. That's a whole lot of scented candles, cupcake cases and burgundy lipstick money for the piggy bank.

So yeah, Zoella's rich. NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH.

What do you reckon to all of this? Surprised that Zoe makes a small fortune, or did you have a funny feeling that might be the case? Let's have a chat over on Twitter @Sugarscape.
