Oh, it's all change on The X Factor this year. Not only have Olly Murs, Caroline Flack and Nick Grimshaw moved onto PASTURES NEW, but it sounds like Xtra Factor hosts Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom could be replaced by this Roman Kemp fella off of Capital FM fame.
Yup - Roman reckons he's been in 'talks' with Simon Cowell and co. to present the telly talent show spin-off; and since he's such a BRIGHT YOUNG THING (and, as a complete sidenote, rather attractive) we thought we'd better get to know the lad a little better.
Apparently he left Uncle Si 'speechless' after his audition, and now Roman's been chattin' all about it to The Sun. He said: "Obviously we have a lot of talks about it. We've had a lot of talks in the past year about 'Xtra Factor' so we'll see. For me, that's the next step.
"It's nice to know these big shows I look up to are watching and thinking about putting me in that show. Having companies like ITV ask if you're interested in doing these types of shows, like 'Xtra Factor', it's nice, it's really nice."
So who exactly *is* this Roman lad, eh? Well we've chucked together a little fact file kinda thang just so y'all are up to date. It literally took about 60 seconds and a quick Google search, but the basics are:
1. He's 23.
2. He's MARTIN KEMP'S SON. Martin Kemp being that guy off of Spandau Ballet (ask yer dad) and EastEnders fame.
3. He's just taken over from Max on Capital FM's big 7-10pm slot. No biggie.
4. He loves football, if his Instagram's anything to go by (this is his Insta, btw)
5. He's VERY PHILOSOPHICAL and that.
Case in point:
So there you go. Roman Kemp, everybody.
What d'ya make of that, then? Wanna see Roman presenting the show? Tweet us over @sugarscape and all that malarky, if you fancy. CHEERS.
