So, you know how we've been waiting (im)patiently for Louis Tomlinson to become the new X Factor judge? Well, after he previously admitted that he hadn't had an 'official conversation' about joining the show, it's now being reported that we won't see his beautiful face on our screens this year after all.
GAH. We didn't order the disappointment burger with a side order of 'WAH' today, thank you.
Yep, despite claims that Lou was 'very likely' to replace Nick Grimshaw on the panel, it's now reported that he's 'ruled out' being a judge this year so that he can focus on his own record label instead, with the people he's working with based out in LA, where he is with adorable little son Freddie.
A source told The Sun: "Louis loves The X Factor but wants to develop his label further this year and sign more new talent."
Right, so, it's a no from us on this new revelation - Mainly because we know it's only going to lead to another Lord-knows-how-many months of X Factor-related speculation and drama. And, let's be honest, there's not enough biscuits in the world to help us through that.
There is some glimmer of some sunny good news amidst these gloomy clouds though (ooo, imagery), with the source saying: "Simon understands. They both agreed to not rule out him being an X Factor judge in the future."
As ye olde saying goes, WATCH THIS SPACE (but please don't make us watch for long because we are naht good at waiting).
Thoughts on this to @Sugarscape or below, please and thanks.
