If you needed any more proof that Zendaya is about to become the world's next big superstar, she's just gone and confirmed that she's landed a role in the new Spiderm-Man movie. NO BIGGIE.
All the details are still on the down low right now, but Zendaya announced the seriously exciting news during her appearance on The Ellen Show this week, revealing that she's super excited about the role.
Chatting to Ellen about what's sure to be her biggest break to date, Zendaya teased: "I can't say anything else other than I'm going to be in it. It's very exciting."
Admitting that it's a pretty big leap for her career, she said: "When it comes to the acting space, I'm basically unknown. I've never been in a real movie before or anything like that, so I had to start from the bottom like anyone else.
"I auditioned and auditioned and auditioned and [broke] down those walls because a lot of people do have that pre-conceived notion of who I am based off previous things I've done, so you got to really break that down and go hard, put in the work, take all the meetings, take all the auditions," she spilled.
We're gonna take a tiiiiiny guess that she might be the new Kirsten Dunst/Emma Stone type gal this time around, acting alongside Tom Holland who's taking on the role of Peter Parker/Spidey himself.
Excited to see Zendaya in Spider-Man? Reckon she should be ACTUAL Spider-Man if they fancy mixing up the gender roles? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
