When we heard that Harry Styles had landed himself an acting job in a real-life Hollywood film, we thought we'd probably spot a curl flapping around in the distance as he gave an Oscar winning performance as Bystander #4 in typical celeb cameo style.
But according to some big film industry sources, you might be seeing more of Harry in his military khakis than you first thought, because word on the street is that he's actually taking on a LEAD role in the Dunkirk movie.
A few more casting developments have been made public this week for the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie that'll see Harry making his big Hollywood debut, with The Wrap reporting that Cillian Murphy will taking on a supporting role in the WWII story.
Cillian is joining Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance in the film's smaller roles, and while they're super A-list names in the business, director Nolan has apparently opted for young newcomers to appear in the film's main parts.
Enter our very own Harreh then, who Collider claim will be set in one of four major lead roles in the story alongside the relatively unknown Fionn Whitehead, Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard. AGH.
Collider have also reported that production for Dunkirk is kicking off in May, with July 21st 2017 being penciled in as the big date for its arrival in cinemas. We'll get the tent, you get the camping chairs.
CRIKEY, so this really is a big deal for Hazza then.
Excited to hear that it's a major role for Harry this time? Reckon he's gonna be good at acting? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
