In our imaginations, Mark-Francis Vandelli spends all of his free time swanning down the King's Road in knee high cashmere socks tucked into mustard coloured chinos and talking very loudly into a gold plated mobile phone.
And thanks to Made in Chelsea catching every one of his movements, it looked like this mental image wasn't actually so far from the truth - but Mr Vandelli disagrees entirely and recently slammed the reality tv show for being a bit of 'a circus'.
Ooh and ahhh and S@SSY etc etc.
Speaking ahead of the new series tonight (IT'S TONIGHT PEOPLE), he told The Sun Online: "I thought in origin that [the show] was a very nice, small clique and it felt much more intimate.
"I didn't know any of them before I started the show, apart from Victoria [Baker-Harber], but it felt as though you were really honing in on a little part of London, and going into people's homes and it felt much more observational.
"Now it's more of a circus."
BAM BAM, shots are fired.
He continued: "I would never allow them anywhere near my friends, apart from Victoria, nothing at all. My family, nothing, Stay away. We deal with this programme with tongs. I would never go out with someone who would agree to go on the show. They would have to be mad.
"My parents just pretend it has never happened. My mother is always so mortified when people stop me in the street. She doesn't understand, she thnks it's horrific. [She says]: 'How could you have done this to yourself? Look at them gawping'!
"I come from a very private family so no one really knows anything about my family, which is the way they have tried to keep it. So I kind of went and wrecked that."
So there you go.
