Hooray, harooh, hurrah - Britain's Got Talent is FINALLY back on telly screens across the nation, so the chances are you probably spent your Saturday night silently weeping into a takeaway thanks to Beau Dermott.
She's the 12 year old gal who completely wowed everyone with her performance of 'Defying Gravity' off of Wicked – but now her backstory is raising a few eyebrows for various ridiculous reasons.
Yup, it's only been on for one weekend and the fix rumours have already started for Britain's Got Talent, as some particularly arsey viewers not happy about the revelation that Beauhas previously received some training at a stage school.
Errrr, duh. No 12 year old starts signing into a hairbrush and immediately sounds as incredible as Beau did on the show, obviously. People are dumb.
The Daily Star claim that Beau, who bagged a golden buzzer for her rendition of 'Defying Gravity', has been having vocal coaching from the StagePro Academy in Warrington for four years, and has also won several talent shows in the past.
Critics reckon that the BGT judges were unaware of Beau's success in the past making the whole thing unfair, but an official spokesperson for the show has shut 'em all down quickly and efficiently. So there.
"This story is ridiculous," they told MailOnline. "Beau had singing lessons once a month for the past four years at Stage Pro Academy. Just because she has had singing lessons, it doesn't mean that she doesn't get nervous when performing as was stated on the show.
"Adele, who is the biggest selling artist in the world, suffers from nerves when performing, so it's not surprising to think that Beau would as well, especially given that she is a 12 year old schoolgirl."
What do you reckon to these latest fix rumours? Reckon you'd still support Beau despite her vocal training? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
