Following the success of Gone Girl and the little known fact that we are all very much OB.SESS.ED with crime/thrillers/dramas rn, The Girl On The Train has jumped on the hype and released the first trailer for the highly anticipated novel-turned-film.
And let's just say it isn't the type of thing you'd want to watch in a dark room by yourself with no snacks for company, 'cos it is CREEPY af and also incredibly scary.
Don't know the story of The Girl On The Train? Well first off, you should probably go and give it a read because it's AMAZING, and tells the story of a woman who goes to work on a train everyday and gets overly invested in the lives of people she sees out of the window en route.
She's played by Emily Blunt in the film, who becomes the not-so-likeable main character after she sticks her nose into a missing persons case when one of the women she spies on out of the train window goes missing. AGH.
The film looks dark, scary and jumpy af, but seeing as it doesn't come out under October 7th, we've all got a bit of time to prepare. Give the trailer a watch below and let us know what you reckon:
BRB, hiding behind a pillow.
