For anyone out there who's been eagerly anticipating the casting of the new Star Wars film; the day has finally arrived to find out who'll be taking on the role of young Han Solo.
No, they can't just attach Harrison Ford to a regeneration device, smother him in in reverse-ageing cream and hope for the best - that option's already been scrapped. Yeah, we're pretty bummed about it too.
So, it falls to a brand new face to take on the role, and a massive congratulations are in order to Aiden Ehrenreich - the guy from Hail, Caesar!, because he's only gone and nabbed himself the job. Yep, we're assuming he's currently sitting a metre-high mess of exploded party poppers.

The Han Solo movie will of course be following Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is set to debut on 16 December, with the Solo film set for release on 25 May 2018. So, it looks like we'll be waiting a while then.
In the meantime, let's all watch how the sporting world made the absolute most of Star Wars Day:
