Every year they say The X Factor's getting a 'reboot.' It's being 'switched up.' They're having a 'revamp.' This year is SOMETHING ELSE, though. Not only have Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw announced they won't be returning to the judging panel; but now Rita Ora's confirmed she's quit the telly talent show.
After winning with the girls category and Louisa Johnson last year, Rita's admitted she won't be a judge on the next series of the show; leaving only Simon Cowell left. We think.
It looks like we're in for something totally different this year, what with Caroline Flack and Olly Murs being replaced by old fave Dermot O'Leary as presenter and our Rita confirming she ain't coming back.
Taking to Twitter following reports she might've quit, Rita explained: "I had a ball on @TheXFactor last year and will miss the team," before tweeting Simon personally saying: "can't wait to work with you again... I'll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love X" [sic].
So yeah, now we're pretty much just down to Simon on the panel. Oh, are you *sure* you can't get Louis Tomlinson on board, Uncle Si?
Thoughts on all this, then? Let us know what's goin' on in your noggin over @sugarscape after this vid. Ta love.
