As we'd hope you're aware by now, Harry Styles off of One Direction started filming his role in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk movie over in Lilles, France earlier this week. And while there's been a lot of talk surrounding this new short hair situation, his acting talents haven't been mentioned much.
Well now some fella supposedly involved in the film - a chap by the name of Will McCrabb - has taken to Twitter to defend Harreh against those questioning his ability to do the whole SERIOUS ACTOR thing.
Oh, and he reckons he's 'brilliant.' Duh.
So basically Will initially addressed everyone's excitement for the film, saying: "My heart skipped when I thought you youngsters were 65mm IMAX fans! Pointof fact you care only for a certain DUNKIRK cast member HOLD FAST."
Then, when one user snapped back: "well actually that certain cast member is kind of ruining what would otherwise be a really exciting film for me," Will couldn't help but tell us all Harry's actually pretty great.
He responded: "Once again, using the nautical term HOLD FAST. By virtue of be patient and get ready. He. Is. Brilliant."
THEN he added: "Last comment on the subject:Harry was cast in DUNKIRK not because he's a singer. But because he's an Actor."
YAAAS, Will. If anything the One Direction connection would be detrimental when auditioning, right? Also - and more to the point - we've all seen the bloody 'Best Song Ever' music video and know the lad's got skills. So there.
