Louis Tomlinson has addressed those rumours he's in the running to play footballer Jamie Vardy in a biopic about his life, and it sounds like we might potentially be seeing Lou in shorts on the big screen, because he hasn't exactly denied an interest in the film.
Louis, who actually attended Jamie's wedding recently (but, despite previous reports apparently DIDN'T give the guests the first solo Louis teaser, BOO) has been linked the role for a while now, with the director previously saying: "He's apparently a great footballer, he can act and he's from South Yorkshire so the accent won't be a problem for him."
Well, all that talk in the press has actually led Jamie and Louis to become pals, and, after attending Jamie's wedding over the weekend, Lou had a bit of a chat with Hello! Magazine about the role: "It's a golden opportunity, Jamie's story is incredible - he's incredible."
Explaining that first and foremost he's just a massive fan of what an inspiration Jamie is, he continued: "He's a lovely guy, very easy-going and such a great example for anyone who thinks they can't follow their dreams."
So, although he didn't officially confirm an interest in the role, he didn't exactly shut down the idea either, teasing: "For a football fan, any kind of involvement in a story like Jamie's is exciting."
Ooh. Reckon we might actually be seeing Louis running around the pitch on a massive cinema screen? Let us know with a tweet @sugarscape or drop us a comment in the box below.
