So you know how every morning usually kicks off by scrolling through Twitter, checking Facebook and watching all your mates stories on Snapchat back to back?
Well it looks like all that might be able to change, after the big honchos over at Snapchat announced that they'll be introducing Snap Ads, which will run in between watching your contacts' stories. Annoying, huh?
Not only that, but the messaging app will start to show ads between messages from friends, too - with the initial launch partners including Hollister, P&G, Verizon, and Warner Bros. Hmm.
In a statement released by the company, they outlined: "Starting soon, we'll begin rolling out Snap Ads between Stories. As always, we're being incredibly thoughtful about the experience - we'll run only top-notch creative, and we'll be careful about how many ads Snapchatters see.
"From time to time, we'll provide a skippable Snap Ad when a Snapchatter watches a string of Stories. These Snaps Ads only appear between Stories - they don't interrupt a Story you're currently watching."
We're not sure we're on board tbh, how about you? D'ya reckon this could be a step in the right direction or what? Discuss with us @Sugarscape or in the comment box below, y'all.
