Right budding vloggers/bloggers/YouTubers of the world: YouTube have opened a swanky new Space in London and IT. IS. AWESOME.
Yup, the fancy new HQ in King's Cross, London, will offer creators the chance to learn production and audience development skills from leading industry experts; connect with fellow YouTubers for advice, knowledge and collaborations and to use the latest in camera and audio equipment to make their content better.
What's more, it's a whopping 20,000 sq ft wide, has cutting edge production equipment and wicked camera facilities, which means creators basically have the chance to run wild with where their videos can go. SO COOL, huh?
Sugarscape's Multimedia Editor Lucy Wood went down to the grand opening and had a look around, and commented: "Having been down to the old YouTube Space in London a few times, I was totally blown away by the brand new, super shiny YT HQ. It's miles bigger, way cooler, and is definitely going to be an inspiring, creative space to work and thrive in for so many talented people.
"The studios were pretty mind-blowing, and it's still unbelievable to me that the technology available, like 360 cameras and 4k streaming, is all TOTALLY free for creators to use. I loved the idea of having the café space for creators to get together and brainstorm with each other, and the dedicated YouTuber merch store was particularly cool, where subscribers can head to when they're in London to grab a Dan and Phil mask if they fancy it.
"It kinda felt like I was walking into the future, and definitely embodies everything that YouTube is all about."
