Made in Chelsea might feel like it's been going on for bloody ages (spoiler: it has), but the MIC lot are mixing it up a bit with all the new characters lately - with the latest one going by the name of Akin Solanke-Caulker.
Yep, whilst some of the originals are still knocking about - Jamie Laing, we're looking at you, Made in Chelsea are adding newbies left right and centra rn, and here's everything you need to know about the latest one.
Name: Akin Solanke-Caulker
Occupation: Sports agent and director of The Athletic Agent, which looks to represent athletes in their chosen sport.
Connection to MIC: He goes running with Alex Mytton. Hopefully in tight leggings and tank tops. Ahem.
Most likely to get with? Well, speaking to The Sun he commented: "I am definitely a playboy but I'll try not to be on screen for the sake of my family. The closest to my target is probably Louise Thompson, she's quite captivating but she has a boyfriend now anyway."
Fun fact: Akin is the first black cast member on MIC, and spoke of how he was proud to be representing 'people like me'. He said: "It's definitely overdue, they need a black person on the show; my mum keeps saying I'm representing.
"I'm not just representing myself but I'm representing other people that look like me, not just the racial side of things but also people who are from where I am from [in East London]."
HOORAY FOR AKIN. Here's to hoping he mixes things up a bit on screen, right?
All this comes as Lucy Watson publicly quit the show last week, with her spokesperson commenting: "After four amazing years on Made in Chelsea, Lucy feels that now is the right time to explore some other exciting opportunities and projects that she is passionate about."
So there you go.
