An OFFICIAL STATEMENT confirmed that the ex-couple have cancelled planned appearances at the four annual Twilight conventions taking place in San Antonio, Detroit, New Jersey and LA - events that they've both attended for the last few years.
This latest statement released in relation to the Robsten drama includes considerably less "I love him's" than Kstew's now infamous offering - but makes for interesting reading none the less.
Creation Entertainment said: "The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family.
"Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"
We're loving how they tried to slip that Robsten bombshell in unoticed, followed with what sounds suspiciously like a desperate attempt to reassure people it's still worth going.
'Surprises'? Unless that surprise is Bobby P riding in shirtless on a pure white horse while Taylor Lautner gives a swearing Kristen Stewart a piggyback behind, we're not interested thankyou.
No official reason has been giving for the cancellation, but we'd hazard a guess that it's something to do with a certain someone indulging in steamy car snogs with a certain director.
His name rhymes with Snupert Randers.
SO, it seems we'll all have to wait until the countless interviews and premieres that make up the Breaking Dawn promotional tour begin to see Rob and Kristen in public together.
We imagine the only person dreading it more than them is Taylor Lautner. Poor Taylor Lautner.
What do you think about the news?
