Demi Lovato to duet with Fifth Harmony at X Factor USA final despite show 'stress'

With the X Factor USA final just around the corner, it sounds like the judging panel are gearing up for a big finish. But although she's had a blast during her first season on the show, Demi Lovato has found the jourey stressful at times.

That's not all that surprising Demi - you've got the future of a whole load of hopefuls in your hands. No pressure or anything.

As the youngest judge in the show's history, Demi had skycraper heels of a shoe to fill when she took over from Nicole Scherzinger.

"[It's been] fun and stressful," she told Parade "I was surprised at how emotionally invested I became. It hurts to see them go, especially when I know their potential.

"It's an honour to sit next to [the judges] because they're legends, but I'm a southern girl with a big mouth, and I speak my mind."

Although there has been no confirmation whether she'll be back or not next season, Demi will team up with Simon's finalists Fifth Harmony for a duet in the final. It's a pretty surprising move - especially as she's never been a massive fan of the gals, despite their awesome cover of her Give You Heart a Break a couple of weeks ago.

Still, it's probably a wise choice as we're not sure Uncle Si could put his money where his mouth is in the singing stakes.

What with all that stress and emotion it's probably lucky One Direction will be in to perform at the final - perhaps Demi and Niall can have another relaxing pink taco based adventure.
