The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will see Peter (played Emma's real life boyfriend Andrew Garfield) take on a brand new set of villains, while he struggles to deal with the promise he made to Gwen's father at the end of the first film. The film will also reintroduce Harry Osborn (originally played by James Franco) and his father Norman Osborn too - but this time it'll be Lawless actor Dane DeHaan and The Bourne Supremacy's Chris Cooper who take on the roles.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will open in the UK on April 18, 2014, and the US on May 2. YES, WE GET IT HERE FIRST. AGH.
