Divergent co stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort cast in The Fault In Our Stars film adaptation

We really hope that Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort get on - because they'll be spending a whole lot of time together over the next year or so.

The actors have just wrapped filming on the adaptation of Veronica Roth's Divergent, but clearly one joint film just wasn't enough and they've also both been cast in The Fault in Our Stars, based on the best-selling book by John Green.

Shailene and Ansel will take on the roles of Hazel and Gus, two terminally ill cancer patients who fall in love when they meet at a support group they get forced to go to by their respective parents. Bit of a switch up from the the brother and sister duo they play in Divergent.

Laura Dern (who you might recognise from Jurassic Park) has also signed up to appear in the book-to-movie adaptation, and will play the mother of Shailene's character.

Production on the project is due to start in August in Pittsburgh, and is set for release in 2014. Are you excited by this news? Have you read the book? What do you make of the casting choices? LET US KNOW BELOW YOU LOVELY LOT.
