Following the incredibly sad news that Alan Rickman had died, Harry Potter fans flocked to Universal Studios, Orlando, to pay a touching tribute to one of his best loved roles: Professor Severus Snape.
On January 14 2016, fans of the Harry Potter franchise went into mourning after Alan Rickman's family announced the news that the actor had died from a short battle with cancer.
And as well as many tributes and celebrations of his life pouring in at the time, loads of Severus Snape fans joined together at Universal Orlando to raise their wands in honour of the actor and the giant part he played in the films.
In a video, presumably filmed by a participator, over 200 people stand in a courtyard of the Harry Potter studios and point their wands towards the sky, much like the students of Hogwarts do in The Half Blood Prince after Dumbledore dies.
It's an incredibly touching tribute to the actor following his passing, and it might make any fans of the film feel a bit teary:
RIP Alan Rickman.
