As if Zayn Malik's Billboard interview hadn't dropped enough bombshells on us (it has), a big cheese over at the magazine reckons he's already filmed the music video for his first solo single post-One Direction.
So as well as dividing opinion within the 1D fandom, sharing details of his ideal woman and revealing some of his own track names, Zayn Malik was joined by some fancy honchos from his record label RCA and Billboard during his shoot.
Janice Min, co-president and chief creative office at Billboard has since taken to Instagram to share her thoughts on el Maliko's glorious shoot, revealing some behind the scenes details - and it's the mention of a PRE-FILMED MUSIC VIDEO that's really got the fandom talking. Is this real life?
She wrote: "On photographing #zaynmalik for Billboard: 'It was hard to make the kid look bad. We shot this at night using minimal lighting. He was up for anything and even had ideas himself. He brought two neon signs that were in his music video - he wanted to incorporate them somehow into our shoot.
"I liked him a lot. He wasn't trying to impress anybody.' Thanks @millermobley @jenlaskiphotovideo @jennysargent_ for phenom work."
WHAT. MUSIC VIDEO. WHERE. WHEN. IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR OUR LIVELY HOOD THAT WE SEE IT NOW.
Whilst the bit about him not being a Bradford bad boy is questionable, what is this sorcery about a music video and why is she SO FRICKING CASUAL ABOUT IT? We're essentially dying here.
Whatever she means, we are so ready for Z016. How about you? Are you on board with this? Let us know your thoughts on this and anything else about Zayn's Billboard shoot over on our twitter, y'all.
