Even though we've been hardcore One Direction fans since their inception, there are still a bunch of people out there who have only recently seen the light and admitted to the pure genius of the band.
One group of people who you might not expect to have the entire discography stored on their phones are the West Ham football team; but, appearances can be deceptive, because it turns out they are all massive fans of a certain track on Made In The A.M.
It was initially footballer Mark Noble who introduced the team to the band after playing the uplifting 'History' in the dressing room, and it's now become something of a team tradition to listen to it before a match.
Coach Julian Dicks, who is usually into heavy metal music more than anything, shared that the track has even massively and unexpectedly grown on him. He told The Sun: "At first I thought 'what is this load of s***' but now I can't get the bloody tune out of my head. The lads played it after we won too and even I'm singing along to it now.
He continued: "I'm not sure [the manager] Slaven's taken with it. I like everything. I'm a heavy metal fan but I also love Elvis, 60s music, anything, although I never thought the day would come when I'd say I liked One Direction. To be honest, any kind of music is good for lifting the spirits. Team spirit is so important."
Um, we kind of adore this. Kind of a lot.
