For most 5SOS fans, Luke Hemmings in 2015 seems to be exactly the same boy that we fell in love with in front of the pink speakers – just with slightly more facial hair and slightly less fringey hair now.
But as that Rolling Stone mag interview proved, the boys are definitely growing up before our VERY EYES, and even Hemmo himself has admitted that he's changed quite a lot since the band found worldwide fame.
Luke's done an interview with Kerrang magazine this month as part of their Stars of 2016 issue (fancy pants), and he's opened up about how being in the spotlight has affected him, considering he was pretty quiet and shy when 5SOS first started out.
"I think you have to make that kind of personality change from being a shy person and, onstage, changing to someone who can fill an arena with music," Luke admitted.
"My personality has definitely changed doing all the stuff that we have done – I'm not as shy and reluctant as I used to be, but it's definitely still a struggle."
Don't worry too much though if you're a 5SOS fan who DOESN'T like change, because Luke's planning on sticking around with this band for as long as poss - or at least as long as you want him to.
Asked about his ten year plan, Luke replied with the best answer ever, saying: "I see myself still playing shows with the band – as long as the fans want the music, I'll be there. I'm learning that it's not just a band to some people.
"It's like, what you're doing is actually for a good purpose and that's your purpose in life. It's a cool purpose to have, to make people happy with music."
