Everyone who keeps up with One Direction's Louis Tomlinson will know that he gives a lot of his time and money to various charities; but there are still some people, and publications, out there who continue to focus on negative stories.
One person who is unhappy with the way Lou is portrayed in the press is Sarah Hext, whose son Harvey lost his fight with neuroblastoma in November last year. Louis' involvement in their lives is something that has been kept private up until now, as he's always remained very discreet about his charity work.
But, Sarah has now decided to speak up for Louis in an interview with Inquisitr.com , sharing details about just how much he has helped her family, and how wrong people are to automatically assume anything bad about him.
Revealing to Inquistr that Louis invited the whole fam to his Believe in Magic ball over the Summer and decked both Harvey and his twin brother Spencer out in Ralph Lauren suits, Sarah also shared that he personally arranged for them to stay at the Langham hotel in London and left them surprise gifts in their suite.
Speaking about her experience at the ball, Sarah continued: "The Ball was the stuff that fairy tales are made of. Louis had a car pick us up to take us to the venue. There were 100's of 1D fans at the gates and as we walked up the red carpet Harvey turned to them, stopped and gave them a bow! Spencer turned to the crowd and shook his bottom! Everyone was cheering and clapping them, it was magical."
On top of this, Louis also took the whole family on a trip of dreams to Disneyland Paris, and even joined them on the holiday for the last few days. He then invited them all to attend a One Direction show in London - sending a private car to get them to and from the arena, and giving them access to a green room if it all got too much for the boys to handle.
Explaining why she's now decided to go public with her story, Sarah commented that she's been upset and hurt by the difference between Louis' media persona and the person he really is: "People don't know the real Louis, Jay has told me that when Louis suffers a bad press day he says to her 'come on mum, lets make someone happy today.' That's the kind of man Louis is. Louis Tomlinson is very grounded, he is family orientated and both louis and Jay hold a very special place in my family's hearts."
