Y'all know James McVey off of The Vamps loves cats, right? Well he's decided to help find the Croydon Cat Killer (yup, that's an actual thing someone's doing) by donating tickets to the band's tour to anyone who might have an idea who it is in partnership with PETA.
James is joining the likes of Caroline Flack, You Me At Six frontman fella Josh Franceschi and Dermot O'Leary in a bid to help track down the person harming these pussies, since more than thirty cats have been found dead at the hands of the 'Croydon Cat Ripper' over the past two years :(
PETA are offering a £5000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the so-called Croydon Cat Killer; with our Jimbob offering tickets to one of The Vamps' shows as another incentive.
He tweeted: "I hate people like this @PETAUK," [sic] adding "Ps, I'll give tour tickets to the person who finds this scum. Just email me @PETAUK :)" [sic]. At least seven cats have been found disembowelled or decapitated in the Croydon area 'cos of this absolute sicko, with PETA Associate Director Elisa Allen saying: "We're grateful to these compassionate stars for alerting their millions of fans about this sickening case.
"Someone in South London must know something about the cruel individual who committed these callous acts, and we're calling on anyone with information to come forward. A person capable of deliberately causing this kind of suffering to helpless animals demonstrates a very worrying psychological state and must be found."
Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999. For more information about helping animals, please visit PETA.org.uk.
What d'ya make of that, then? Give us a tweet over @sugarscape or drop a comment in the box below, purr-lease.
