You might think that Kanye West is about as cute as a poke in the eye seeing as he's constantly grumpy and always saying things that land him in the 'douchebag' category of celebs, but back in the day Yeezus was kind of adorable. Shhh don't tell anyone.
Earlier this week his wifey Kim Kardashian shared an amazing throwback vid from his school days, featuring Kanye reciting a poem he'd written about Martin Luther King Jr, and it's guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Mini 12 year old Kanye is looking super smart in a shirt and tie in the old school vid, as he gets up in front of his classmates in assembly to read out his work entitled "His Name Means Love" for Martin Luther King Day.
Yeezy can be heard confidently telling the room: "My name is Kanye West" before he kicks off his personally written poem off in honour of the civil rights leader.
The words themselves are pretty amazing for someone so young to have created, so he obviously always had a talent for penning meaningful lyrics. Respect, mini Kanye.
Sigh, if only he was still this shy and reserved. Have a watch of the cute li'l vid here:
Yeezus, you cutie.
