After opening up about his sexuality and discussing how he no longer wishes to be labelled, Union J's George Shelley has thanked fans for their support and for letting him be himself.
Earlier this week, George Shelley took to YouTube to tell fans he doesn't want to be labelled with "old fashioned" terms like gay, straight or bisexual, and that who he chooses to date next "shouldn't be a big deal" - and the internet responded with praise and a big round of applause.
And as well as loads of celebrities showing their support, the whole nation took over twitter to announce how proud of him they are - and George has since been chinwagging about how grateful he is.
Speaking on Capital FM during a guest co-hosting role, he said: "I've been inundated with positive responses and everything and my family have been wicked.
"All of my best friends and everyone I care about has been really lovely and supportive, so thank you everyone. It was tough but it's been amazing and I'm so happy that I did it."
Georgeyboy also took to twitter to thank fans, writing: "thank you" with a cute little heart emoji.
What. A. CUTIE.
What do you lot reckon, then? Reckon what George did was pretty brave and courageous or what? Let's discuss over on our twitter or in the comment box below, THAAANKS.
