If you're scraping together 5ps to try and afford a chocolate bar at lunch time or sacrificing posh sandwiches for the cheapest option poss, then you might feel better knowing that your financial sitch is better than Kanye West's.
He revealed on Twitter last week that he's in debt by a fairly whopping $53 million - and his latest album is thought to have lost him another $10 million, so someone's decided that charity begins with Yeezy and set up a GoFundMe page to help him raise some cash.
Despite being ridiculously famous and a massively successful artist, Kanye claims to have somehow landed himself a whole lotta personal debt, and it doesn't look like Mark Zuckerbeg is gonna be helping him out any time soon.
So the brains behind the fundraising for Kanye is Jeremy Piatt, who told Mashable what it's all about: "I'm trying to help out the greatest living artist of our time while he's in need.
"Kanye is the greatest living artist on the planet, he's told us many many many many times."
Going on to explain why he's bothering (we can't work out if he's serious or not tbh), Jeremy said: "The great artists need people to finance them, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo had the Medici family to fund their projects, so why not have the legions of Kanye fans fund his?"
Err, well there are a small number of starving/dying/ill/needy people and inspiring/worthy/wonderful causes across the planet which might be sliiiightly more deserving of any spare change, but okay pal.
As far as we know, Kanye is still yet to reach out to Jeremy to collect the $5,232 that's been collected by the campaign since the last time we checked. RUDE.
