Having inadvertently kicked up a right storm on Twitter last night, Zayn Malik has been forced to deny that he was throwing shade at anyone with his comments about people feeling liberated by getting naked.
All the drama started last night when Zayn shared his thoughts on nekkid-ness, with fans quick to assume that he was indirectly slamming Kim Kardashian for that censored selfie, or Little Mix for their sexy tour costumes.
But can everyone just CALM DOWN PLEASE, because he's confirmed that that's absolutely not what he was on about.
Possibly not choosing the best wording for his message, Zayn wrote on Twitter last night: "love how people feel liberated naked. Read a book liberate your brain."
Depending on exactly how you imagine the tweet being read aloud in those dulcet Bradford tones, you could either take it to mean that he LOVES how people are liberated by getting naked these days, and that everyone should educate themselves on why that's so important.
Or you could take it to mean that he's being sarcastic af and that people should be more concerned with reading books than getting their kit off.
It seems more people took it to be the second message though, as Zayn was quickly forced to confirm that "This is not shade", explaining: "liberate yourself with education and learn to love everyone's expression".
He also went ahead and retweeted a couple of fans who'd taken his message in the RIGHT way, just to clear up any final confusion before bowing out because "this shit is exhausting". You're telling us, pal.
So there you go, no shade at Kim Kardashian or Little Mix here, thanks very much.
