One Direction have been on hiatus for approximately 161 days, and we'd be lying if we said we said our ovaries didn't tremble at the thought of them getting back together - but if the latest reports are anything to go by, we might be waiting a while.
So whilst Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan happily frolic around doing their own thing and we continue to track four separate Twitter accounts as well as the official One Direction one, sources reckon a reformation is the last thing on the singer's minds.
Someone told the Daily Star: "One Direction are not coming together in a year or even two. The fans have hoped that the group would honour their announcement of returning within 12 months."
"But that is a long way off and the boys are not even on track to mention a comeback. All four are loving their own solo freedom."
Considering Harry Styles just landed a massive film role, Louis Tommo is eyeing up an X Factor rolerole, Niall Horan has a golfing talent company on the horizon and Liam Payne is working on solo stuff with Juicy J, they do have a point.
But still, two years? Nah babes.
The source added that Harry and his new manager Jeff Azoff were working on a solo project for him that would last at least three years. They continued: "Jeffrey is determined to make Harry a superstar as he believes he has the popularity and talent to be the next Justin Timberlake.
"The project will take at least three years for Harry, and the feeling is that 1D is very much a thing of the past."
Hmm. We're not sure about all this - how about you? Reckon there might be some truth in this or what? Discuss with us @Sugarscape, yo.
