After Beliebers of the world went into mass mourning and tried not to drown in their own tears when Justin Bieber announced he was no longer partaking in meet and greets and banning selfies, the girl who reportedly is responsible has SPOKEN OUT.
Yup, y'all might remember (and when we say 'might', HOW COULD WE FORGET?), Justin caused a world wide wave of sadness when he announced he would no longer be taking selfies with fans due to 'wanting to keep his sanity'.
The same day, fangirl Kailyn Ferrara posted a video she filmed of herself running up to el Bieb in the street and trying to take a selfie - despite his bodyguard saying no - which is why she, and other fans, have held her responsible for the selfie ban.
Hmm, we're not sure it's as black and white as that, but we'll continue.
After recieving abuse and threats on the video, Kailyn later deleted it and spoke on the Mix 104.1's Karson and Kennedy show to defend herself against vile online hate.
Explaining what happened, she said:
"I got really excited because I couldn't believe it was really [Justin], so my first instinct was 'I need to give him a hug', so I walked over and I gave him a hug. I put my phone up and he didn't like that… The security guard said, 'You shouldn't do that without asking first.' I feel bad. I didn't think he'd get mad about it, but he did… For what it's worth, Justin was still nice despite everything that happened. After I gave him the hug, he still talked to me. He got over it quickly and still talked to us after the incident."
This vid explains the whole thing in more detail:
We reckon it was probably a culmination of loads of different circumstances rather than just one event that made Justin ban selfies, don't you think? Thoughts? Let us know what you make of this on our Twitter, yo.
