So, how long did Niall Horan's 'This Town' take to write?

It's easy to forget how much One Direction have achieved over the years. Whilst the hiatus is understandably the fandom's main concern right now, it would be silly to undermine the gazillion awards, multiple number one singles/albums and sell out tours just because they're not working together right now.

Especially because Niall Horan, who's currently performing debut solo single 'This Town' at loads of Jingle Bell Balls this December, insists he and the rest of 1D would 'be silly not to' reform at some point in the future.

Talking about his One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson about whether he could see them working together in the future, Niall told Sunday People: "We will be back. We would be silly not to... ridiculous.

"At the moment we are all doing our own thing. Harry wanted to do his movie and everyone is just chilling. I don't think anyone needs to worry about us, we are fine."

Is Niall Horan the reassuring voice of reason we all need in our lives 100 per cent of the time? YES. A MILLION TIMES YES.
