Nothing beats a Hollywood bromance but apparently you won't find Robert Pattinson and Andrew Garfield bonding over baseball caps and Spider-Man outfits as it's rumoured that the two British actors aren't the best of pals.
While we love both R-Patz and Andypandy for their individuality, we could see why they might be thought of as similar - It's not as though they're as different as say Amy Childs and Emma Watson, are they?
"The truth is, Andrew can't stand Rob. Andrew hates that they're put in the same category because they're both English and around the same age," a source told UsMagazine.com.
Anyway, it's all good because being grown up about things, they apparently take the mature and adult route and supposedly just pretend the other one isn't there when they are thrown together socially.
According to one observer, the pair apparently demonstrated this technique at the wedding of a mutual producer friend last month.
"They don't enjoy hanging out. Andrew considers himself a 'serious actor' and sees Rob as the equivalent of a cheesy boy bander because of Twilight," the insider added.
It sounds like that might not be the whole story though, and according to yet another anonymous insider, any dislike might stem from the fact that they often end up auditioning for the same parts.
"Both like intense parts and go after the same roles. They're just naturally competitive," the source said.
If the rumours about this are true, we would quite happily offer our services to help them work these so-called issues through. We've got a jelly filled paddling pool handy in the cupboard too..
