In news that we’re finding far more exciting than we care to admit, Harry Styles and Niall Horan set up Twitter accounts under fake names so that they can talk to One Direction fans.

Harry Styles and Niall Horan fake Twitter accounts

YES THAT’S RIGHT: THEY’RE FLOATING ABOUT TWITTER WITH NAMES LIKE @I_am_Nialls_whoran and @Harryswillyinmyface AND TALKING TO YOU.

OK, the names might not be totally accurate and we apologise for shouting, but AGH.

"Harry and Niall like to get personal with the fans, but it's hard to talk one-on-one with them without being cyber-mobbed,” an insider told The Daily Star.

"So in the last few months they've started using pseudonyms to befriend their fans on Twitter. They have no idea the strangers they're talking to are actually their idols.

"The boys change their names every few weeks to prevent being rumbled."

According to the source, the boys even get their fans to slag them off and spill on all the latest rumours.

"They find out what fans enjoy most at the gigs and which songs they like and don't like. It's also a good place to hear what the latest rumours are.

"They say it helps them kill time as well when they're waiting in hotels and airports around the world. Harry does it the most. He loves finding out what the fans really think."

Wow, we wonder if it was Narry who send us the picture of the Zayn Malik doll next to a pair of wet knickers. That was healthy for our eyes, ahem...

Anyway, enough of that, take a look at Nathan Sykes talking about dating Niall.
