If you spent two years of your life watching Eastenders solely for the scenes when Ben Hardy would be on screen as Peter Beale, then you'll know that he's been blessed in the genes department for quite some time now.
For those of you who aren't up to date on your where-are-they-now trivia, Ben's actually a proper Hollywood star nowadays, and will be portraying Angel (you know, the guy with wings) in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film.
With the movie due to be released this Summer, Ben's recently given an interview with Fault Magazine and, to the benefit of the human world, has even done a photoshoot to supplement the chat.
Talking about his decision to leave Eastenders to pursue a career in the US, he said: "I just left really. It's one of those things you've got to just get out there to do otherwise I might find myself waking up in 10 years wondering what could have been."
When asked whether he's taken any inspiration from the The Last Stand's portrayal of his character in X-Men, Ben explained he's pretty much diving into the material without paying *too* much attention to previous adaptions.
"As the timeline has completely warped and while I did watch X-Men: The Last Stand, I went into playing Angel as a brand new character altogether. I'm drawing on Angel's character as dictated by the script and my own interpretation of him without worrying too much on past appearances."
Talking of appearances, what a guy, eh?
