Just like clockwork, it's a monthly ritual for you to find yourself curled up in a ball, clutching at your stomach, writhing in pain and wondering why god cursed you with these pesky, vicious ovaries. Sound familiar? Then listen up.
Some geniuses in the technology world have invented a gadget which promises to literally turn off your period cramps instantaneously, so that sounds like the most marvellous creation of all time really.
Livia is basically every gal's new best friend – a gadget that reckons it can instantly banish your period pain and cramps without the need for painkillers, using just little pulses to interfere with your pain receptors.
The tiny pod clips onto your waistband and features two little stickers that need to be popped onto your lower tummy area over where the cramps would usually unleash their horrors.
It's these little stickers which send our pulses to stimulate the nerves, block pain receptors and prevent pain messages from reaching your brain. Science is just cool af really, innit?
Livia should therefore make your period pain stop immediately – or at least significantly reduce it – from the second that you switch it on, and seeing as it's small enough to fit under your undies, you could keep it on all day if you needed to.
The creators say that tehre's absolutely no side effects either – so if you're interested in showing your ovaries a good time, you can grab a Livia for around £60 from October 2016.
So yeah, we're now seriously wanting one of these bad boys. Reckon it's something you might be interested in buying to banish the cramps FOREVER? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
