We've all been there: you send a risky text, decide massively against it approximately half a second later and there's nothing you can do except bury your head in a bag of Doritos and cry until your eyes are so puffy you can't see the phone screen.
Except there IS something you can do about it now, because there's an app to save you from hours of embarrassment and sadness: Privates.
The idea behind the app is that it allows you to recall messages instantly - which could come in handy when we instantly regret accidentally sending a One Direction meme to our crush rather than the fandom group chat. Y'all feel us? WE KNOW YOU FEEL US.
The Privates recall functions works up until the recipient opens the message, so admittedly you do have to work fast - but it's still worth it, huh?
The app allows users to select from three levels of 'security' (which essentially means the person you're messenging can't screenshot, copy and paste or save messages you've sent them), and be safe in the knowledge risky texts will only be read if you want them too.
Sounds pretty good, huh? The app is currently available on Apple's iOS, and whilst we're not entirely sure everyone will be using it instead of WhatsApp, it's a pretty good shout.
