Every time Snapchat decides to update something on their app to a slightly fancier version of its former self, we have no idea how we've managed to live so long with the old function. And this latest new'un is definitely no exception, 'cos it's about to change the way you take vids on the app.
Snapchat have now added a one-handed zoom function in the latest update, and it's everything we never knew we needed. Here's how it works, and how it'll make your life SO much easier.
Up until now, the only way to zoom in when taking a video was to have one of your thumbs holding down the capture button, while your other hand's index finger and thumb pinched together to move closer or further away on the screen. It's been a RIGHT faff.
But the latest update means that such shocking inefficiency is all a thing of the past, and you'll now be able to use the entirety of Snapchat with just one hand, leaving your other hand free to grab snacks. Hoorah.
If you wanna get your phone kitted out with the one-hand zoom function, you'll first need to get yourself the latest update of Snapchat - 220.127.116.11.
Press and hold down the capture button with your thumb, and then use your single finger to move up and away from the button across the screen to zoom in, and slide it back down and towards the capture button to zoom out again. SIMPLES.
Well this is rather snazzy, and our fingers are sighing with relief at the thought of having to do so much less work.
