Sexuality can be one of the hardest topics to get to grips with. It's incredibly personal, so the idea of coming out and being honest with yourself, your friends and your family is pretty terrifying for a lot of young people.
That's why we're always ready to hand out the gold stars and teeny tiny crowns to YouTubers who use their platform to open up about their own LGBTQ+ views and issues, and the latest gal to address her own experiences is the lovely Dodie Clark.
Dodie's shared a fantastically brill video on the subject of sexuality, even taking the decision to reveal to her subscribers that she is, in fact, bisexual.
Speaking about it all for the first time on her vlog channel, Dodie opened up about how things have changed since she last made a sexuality vid back in 2014 when she insisted that she didn't "assign herself to labels", and admitted that she's kinda embracing the idea now.
Announcing her bisexuality to the world, Dodie said:"I thought about using that label and honestly it works, because I am romantically and sexually attracted to both men and women.
"I probably wouldn't say equally, or in the same ways, because someone's gender makes it very different for me", adding that she'd also considered the label of demi-sexual - being sexually attracted to someone when there is an emotional bond".
One of the most interesting parts of the video also sees Dodie opening up about the genuine worry that she's "not bi enough" having not actually had sex with a girl, but later deciding that the label made sense when she discovered that actually, not everyone gets the kind of girl crushes that she's been growing up with.
But as she points out, girls are "so soft, and so small, and their hand fits so perfectly in yours, and they smell nice", so it all kinda makes sense now really. Have a watch of Dodie's vid below and soak up her awesomeness:
High five for doddleoddle.
