Singer thanks fiance for keeping her feet firmly on the ground

Ashlee Simposn says that although she's a massive star, her feet are kept firmly on the ground by boyfriend Pete Wentz.

The pair, who have a house together in LA, have recently got engaged amidst pregnancy rumours and Ashlee says that it's her man she has to thank for keeping her "grounded."

But whilst he's a good influence, Ash knows the importance of surrounding herself with other wholesome people, to avoid ending up like fellow stars like Lindsay Lohan.

She says, "I don't see myself following the path those girls take. I'm almost 24. I'm pretty together and I'm getting married. I wouldn't ever let myself get that way and I don't surround myself with 'yes' people. I think that's the most important thing."
