Is that ‘cause no smelly lads are hogging the duvet?

You’d think with all that singing about making and breaking relationships, Taylor Swift’s main priority is having a lovely lad to hold hands and go skipping through cornfields with. But it turns out that these days she’s a bit of a changed lady and is pretty happy staying a single pringle for now, thank you very much.

It was claimed last week that Swizzo was feeling pretty down in the dumps about her lack of action in the romance department, but Tay has slammed that as total rubbish, and revealed that being a single lady is the best thing ever. Like ever.

Talking romance with Event magazine, Taylor revealed that she's had enough of being the scorned ex-girlfriend, and these days she’s a strong independent woman who don’t need no man to come in and leave his stinkin’ socks all over the place while watching Craziest Police Chases In The World Volume 17. No SIR.

She spilled: "I am single. To be honest being single is one of the best things about my life right now. And whatever people think I actually love it."

"Life is so much more fun and it’s great not to have to worry about calling someone every night, just doing what you want to do. Hanging out with your friends."

Dressing up like hipsters? Making fun of our exes? Uh oh, uh oh. We couldn't agree more Swifty, you're making us want to stick on Destiny's Child greatest hits and do lots of sassy hair flicking.

Well we're glad to hear that Swizzy is all about dat single life and is pretty content spending her evenings with her cat, but surely having no troublesome lads around means that we might be waiting AGES for a new album. Maybe she'll ditch the love songs and go for a feel good single gal vibe instead? AGH, the struggle is real.

Glad to hear that Taylor's loving being a single pringle? Or are you a bit worried that this could mean no more killer break-up songs? Comments please, Swifties.
