The Geordie pop princess has topped both the UK single AND album chart!


Simon Cowell broke the good news to the Girls Aloud member, who has recently gone solo, on last night's X Factor results show. He also asked Mrs Cole to join his record label!

Simon gives Cheryl a congratulatory hug (and gets a good whiff of her hair too, by the looks of it)!

We'd be smiling like the cheshire cat too if we'd hit the top spot of both the single and album chart!

Cheryl has held the number one single spot for two weeks running, with her first solo single Fight For This Love being the fastest-selling single of the year. Her debut album 3 Words also went straight in at number one in the album chart this week!
