Reason 12896, you may remember, was when last week she tweeted that her and her friends (who she 'cleverly' dubs the IDGAF Crew - standing for 'I Don't Give A F*ck') were in the back of a car speeding on their way to Disneyland. She then followed up this tweet with another bragging that they'd had a car crash. Hmmm, very mature.

Anyway, the latest reason we think Peaches is a bit of an idiot is because she started a mean internet rumour that Miley Cyrus had died.

Just after news had broken that actress Brittany Murphy had very sadly passed away, Peaches posted a message on her Twitter page (is she ever off that thing?) saying Miley had also died. Peaches claimed that she'd had a text from a "friend in the industry" saying Miley had died but no one knew about it yet.

What industry was that Peaches? The garbage industry?

The throw-away tweet caused panic on Twitter, with hundreds of people worrying about the Hannah Montana starlet and slamming Peaches for being so irresponsible.

But Peaches not only made herself look mean, not so in the know as she'd like to think and a bit of a twit. She also made herself look ridiculous. As at the time of Tweeting, Miley was in fact on stage - larger than life - at a sell out concert at the O2.

Next time, Geldof, get your facts straight. In fact, could there just not be a next time? Thank you.
