Looks like Lily Allen isn't getting nearly enough attention for her liking with her new 'I'm going to be all sensible and keep out of the limelight' lifestyle. So after chucking that massive 'I'm quitting technology' strop back in September, guess who's come crawling back on to Twitter? You get three guesses, and the first two don't count...

 

 

In September, she left the website with the overly dramatic announcement: “I am a neo-luddite, goodbye.” But then yesterday morning she logged back on and wrote, “Hello, I'm back," followed by, “Just got back from aus, and I had a wonderful time. Setting up my new office in london, got some really exciting stuff to share with you. For now though, i'm off to the gym. Went to india over xmas, and the clarified butter has made its way from my tummy to my thighs. Eeuuggh.”

 

Does anyone actually care.

 

Don't get us wrong, we don't mind Lily. We quite like her and that gobby mouth of hers. But has she gone all hypocritical on our asses? First she 'quit' the music industry in a stand against piracy but within weeks she had annouced a tour and signed up for a bunch of festivals.

 

Then, she packed in Twitter, gobbing off about how technology is bad, bad, bad and takes over people's lives before coming back to tell us about her gym regime. YAWN.
