The Latin American singer wants to stand up and be counted...


We know that Demi Lovato is gorgeous, talented and cool but the teen star also has a message to get across.

Demi has joined other Latin American stars such as Wilma Valderrama and Ana Ortiz in the Voto Latino campaign, which is co-founded by actress Rosario Dawson.

Voto Latino aims to encourage Latin Americans to sign census forms so that there will be better schools and living conditions for them.

Demi said: "I just want to start early and help influence kids so their parents sign census forms."
