(We've got a sofa and a sleeping bag with her name all over it, if she gets stuck. Just saying.)

We've got a sneaky suspicion that Cheryl Cole will be asking family and friends for Habitat vouchers for her next birthday, as she'll be looking to kit out the new pad she's currently looking for - WITHOUT ASHLEY.

This morning we're breathing a sigh of relief as the news reaches us that Cheryl isn't on her way to France to have crisis talks with Mr Cole, she is in fact on the hunt for her own pad, and isn't wasting any time in closing the door on her massive marital mansion in Godalming, Surrey.

"Cheryl does not want the separation to be drawn out over a long period of time," says a source (we're assuming not tartar, as she hates fish) close to Cheryl. "She wants to find somewhere quickly in order for her to gain stability in her home life and become settled once again. If she can’t find somewhere she likes to buy she will consider moving into rented accommodation in the short term."

Funnily enough Cheryl, we were just about to update our Facebook status with: 'large double room to rent in East London. Message us for details.' So if you're interested, drop us a line...

"It’s a real shame as she did love that house and has some great memories there but of late they have been soured by what’s gone on and she firmly believes a new start is what’s needed," continues the anonymous person who knows her. "They will meet up and that has always been the case. But it’s not going to be a showdown of any sorts. There may be a few tears but at the end of the day, they just want to sort out their finances and the practicalities of how to divide up their things.”

As long as that's all they discuss then we're happy for her to rent our spare room. But there won't be any kissing and making up under our roof, thank you very much.
