Whether he's giving contestants a dressing down on The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent or boasting about his love life with on Piers Morgan's show, Simon Cowell comes off as a confident, outgoing man with not a care in the world...

However, fellow BGT judge Amanda Holden has absolutely stunned us with her latest revelation. Simon Cowell is... SHY!

She said of Simon, "Apart from his mum [speaking about him], he's never really let on much about his private life," she said. "He has to maintain some kind of privacy in such a public arena. He wants to keep something back for himself. He's an incredibly shy person."

Surely that's like saying Taylor Lautner is incredibly ugly, or Lady Gaga is incredibly normal. What you're selling, we ain't buying, Amanda!
