The star opens up about getting her life back on track.
We’ve often watched Lindsay Lohan with a morbid curiosity, wondering whether the troubled star would ever be able to rekindle the success of her early career; she is definitely talented enough to.
An interview with Lindsay shortly before she entered prison and then a rehab facility has revealed that she is dedicated to getting her life back on track and start taking her career seriously.
She told the US Marie Claire: “I don’t care what anyone says. I know that I’m a damn good actress. … And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible—but that’s what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes.”
She also openly admitted to the magazine that her drink and drug abuse directly attributed to her downfall and that she was too influenced by those around her.
“I’ve admitted to the things that I’ve done—to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things ’cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, O.K., ’cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it.”
She blamed her going off the rails on the fact that she had so much structure and responsibility at a young age while she was making her films, and then, when the work stopped she was suddenly without structure but with a great deal of cash.
Now though Lindsay is focussed on putting her days of partying behind her after realising that clubbing isn’t all that fun.
“I'm not getting any younger. I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night then so be it. It's not fun anyway.I don't care. It's the same thing every time.”

We really hope that Lindsay can turn it around now and show the world what she’s made of, everyone deserves a second chance.
