Just like Diva Fever did...
The girls had to leave the show on Sunday after the judges failed to reach a unanimous decision about who should go home - Belle Amie or Katie Waissel. Having received the lowest number of votes from the public, Belle Amie were given the boot, despite singing Kelly Clarkson's hit Break Away, in the tense sing off.
Upset about leaving the show in the early rounds, the girls have, reportedly, now lashed out at their mentor Simon, saying that he didn't give them the help and direction that they needed, even though it's well known that girl bands generally don't do well on X Factor.
"I think it's a lot easier for the boys [One Direction] to do well because they're five cute boys, and the girls are always going to love them," said band member Sophia Wardman. "I think for us, we just wanted to a little bit more help, just because it's harder for us to get people to like us, to get the right song and the right styling."
The Belle Amie girls aren't the only ones accusing Simon of being preoccupied with One Direction either, with camp duo Diva Fever blaming him for their early exit too, and even Louis Walsh having a snipe on the weekend saying: "Simon is putting all his energies into One Direction and it's not fair. You [Belle Amie] have no mentor. It's not right. They may be too afraid to say anything but I'm not." Oo-err!
What do you think? Do reckon Belle Amie deserved to stay over Katie? Did Simon neglect his other acts because he's too interested in One Direction? Is Louis Walsh out of order saying what he did on the live show? Comments please!
