There was swearing and everything, oo-er...
When it comes to X Factor contestants and their dating, mating and slating habits, everything we hear in the press we have to take with a scoop of salt. That is unless the news comes straight form Matt Cardle’s perfectly formed, stubble covered mouth, then we know to take it as gospel.
So we are happy to report that Matt has opened up about the recent rumours concerning a fight between him and Latino hunk of love Wagner, and guess what – it did happen.
Matt told X Magazine: “I just told him what I thought of him. The contestants are in a position where they feel they can’t necessarily say what they want. But I can. And Wagner annoys a lot of people. So I went and told him exactly what I thought."
Oooohhh Matt you’re so tough. Did you achieve this fearless stance during your decorator days? All those high ladders you climbed and turpentine you mixed have really made you laugh in the face of danger. Next you’ll be telling us you swear.
“Yeah I swore at him. Yeah I was rude to him but he’s rude to everyone he meets."
Whoa, hold the phone. We’re finding ourselves strangely attracted to rude Matt and his potty-mouthed ways.
Wagner seems to have given up on getting his fellow contestants to like him, that or he’s just too old to give a damn (our nans are, they tell everyone what they think of them nowadays, including the lady on the bus with the big squirrel earrings).
He retorted: “I think it’s very sad that instead of talking about themselves, they are making me even more famous.”
Well we wouldn’t call it sad Wags, a bit funny maybe but nothing that anyone could get emotional over.
Was Matt right to lash out at Wagner, or should he just keep his head down and concentrate on the competition? And how long do you think Wagner has left in it, could he really go the whole way?
